Facial Surgery

Facelift or Rhytidoplasty: It is a surgery aimed at improving the impacts of facial aging, mainly sagging (excess skin) of the face and neck. This surgery has a scar in front and behind the ear that is discreet. In addition, there are two other scars that may be hidden by hair or right at the transition of hair and skin in the temporal and occipital region.

Rhinoplasty: There are various techniques to improve the aesthetic appearance of the nose. Personally, I use the open technique to be able to structure the nose in an effective way. It has a small scar in the region of the columella and, if necessary, at the base of the nasal loops. In most cases it is necessary to fracture the bones of the nose to reduce their width.

Blepharoplasty: Blepharoplasty is eyelid surgery. This can be from the upper and/or lower eyelids. The main indication is when there is excess skin and/or protrusion of the adipose bags in this region. The scars are subtle, as they are hidden in natural grooves.

Frontal or eyebrow lift: This surgery can be performed with an open access. Its objective is to lift the eyebrows and thus restore harmony to the frontal region.

Facial lipograft: It refers to the use of the patient's own adipose tissue to perform facial filling in deficient areas. As we age, the face undergoes reabsorption of adipose tissue. With the use of lipograft it is possible to restore this lost volume with tissues from the same patient.

Chin implant: Hypomentalism or receding chin can be corrected with the use of implants.

Body Surgery

Lipoaspiration/Liposuction: It is the surgery designed to extract fat from the areas where it is most accumulated. It is performed through small 0.5cm incisions using cannulas. Furthermore, it is possible to associate the use oftechnologies in order to further improve the results. In my vision, technologies areessential in liposuction.

TECHNOLOGIES

- VASER: Ultrasound cannula. The waves of this technology "loosen" the adipose tissue, reducing surgical trauma, thus facilitating liposuction.

- Bodytite: Use of radiofrequency to reduce postoperative sagging and retract tissues. This radiofrequency is for internal use and raises the temperature of internal tissues up to approximately 70 degrees. With this, the collagen fibers are retracted and the generation of more collagen is stimulated.

- Morpheus: It is the use of microneedles with radiofrequency. This technology allows the retraction of the superficial skin and the generation of skin collagen, achieving tissue rejuvenation.

- PAL: This type of technology is based on the vibration of the aspiration cannula. Its objective is to achieve better definition at the time of liposculpture.

Augmentation mammoplasty: In cases of hypomastia (low mammary gland volume), the use of implants helps to improve the volume and shape of the breast. The areolar approach can be used or through the mammary fold.

Reductive mammoplasty: Breast hypertrophy (excess volume) can be corrected with this surgery. Depending on the amount of volume to be resected, it is possible to perform it using a periareolar, vertical or inverted T scar.

Mastopexy: The surgery and scars are similar to that of reduction mamaplasty. Its indication is to lift the breasts to their anatomical position.

Gynecomastia/Pseudogynecomastia: When adipose or glandular tissue accumulates in the male pectoral region, we speak of pseudogynecomastia and gynecomastia respectively. Treatment is liposuction and resection of glandular tissue in appropriate cases. Depending on the saggingresidual, can be performed with an areolar scar or require scarsgreater.

Abdominoplasty: Abdominoplasty is intended to correct sagging abdominal skin, in addition to repairing diastasis (separation) of the rectus abdominis muscles. The scar is hidden by clothing.

Brachio/Cruroplasty: It is the surgery intended to correct sagging skin on the arms and thighs respectively.
